The great lighthouse
The Grand Phare, also known as the Pyramid Lighthouse, is an imposing structure standing 39 metres tall and painted white. It is located on the left bank of the Odet River and is a well-preserved piece of heritage steeped in history. Its name comes from the old wooden pyramid-shaped beacon that served as a guide for sailors, which it replaced in the late 19th century. This lighthouse is aligned with the Sainte Marine lighthouse on the right bank and the Coq lighthouse on the left bank.

From Benodet, take Avenue Bouilloux Lafont, then take the D44 departmental road to Rue de Beg Ménez. Then take Route de Kerguéres, then the D783 departmental road. Take Rue de Lambell/Rte de Lambell towards Rte de Pendruc in Trégunc, and the campsite will be on your right.
